CALIFORNIA WINE COUNTRY CRUISES NOVEMBER 2004

Cruise aboard the spacious "Spirit of Endeavour" sailing weekly from San Francisco's waterfront for a fabulous all-inclusive Wine Country cruise/tour experience. Highlights include on-board wine tasting before dinner; visiting the Carneros district between Sonoma and Napa valleys; savoring the fine wines of Artesa, a new architecturally acclaimed winery; touring Benzinger Family Winery by tram-tractor, with lunch al fresco in the garden or in the winery caves; a visit to RMS, the oldest distillery in California, producing luxury brandy with a traditional distillation method perfected in Cognac, France, 400 years ago; cruising the Sacramento Ship Canal to visit the 80-acre historic Sacramento Old Town district, the Capitol Building, Crocker Art Museum, Railroad Museum, art galleries, and shops.

We also take you to the northernmost end of the Napa Valley to visit Schramsberg, founded in 1862, to explore their 19th century tunnels and taste some of finest champagne in the country. Nearby Markham Vineyards, established in the 1870's, is our setting for an exclusive luncheon by candlelight in their Casket Room, and tasting of their award-winning wines. You'll spend an afternoon in historic Napa town with a private tour of the COPIA, noted winemaker Robert Mondavi's cultural museum and educational center dedicated to all aspects of American wine, food and art. Visit fine galleries and shops before returning to the ship for more wine tasting on board, and our Captain's Farewell Dinner.

Choose a relaxing 5-days/4-nights or 4-days/3-nights all-inclusive cruise/tour sailing weekly in November. All transfers, accommodation, breakfast, lunch, dinner, winery tours and wine tasting are included.
